Usapang libro.

Stolen from Sarah's blog.

You’re stuck inside Fahrenheit 451, which book do you want to be?

Homer's The Iliad, and be the playground of smart-ass gods and goddesses and fickle-minded mortals. And find out what really went on when Achilles dressed in drag.

Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character?

Nope. But I do adore Pai from The Whale Rider. The kid's got spunk.

The last book you’ve bought is / are:

1. Small Town by Lawrence Block - detective thriller that has a mix of weirdos for its cast
2. White Trash by John King - a story about misunderstood people
3. Julia by Peter Straub - a horror story about "reincarnation" and the evil ghost of a woman's dead daughter
4. Blonde by Joyce Carol Oates - a story about Marilyn Monroe
5. The Myth Man by Elizabeth Swados - something like HBO's Carnivale without the supernatural

The last book you’ve read:
Julia by Peter Straub. Story's so-so. I'm not too impressed with the way he writes.

What are you currently reading?

The Myth Man by Elizabeth Swados. Weirdness with a capital W, but totally original and brings out all sorts of emotions.

Five books you would take to a deserted island:
1. a wilderness survival handbook
2. Mythology by Edith Hamilton
3. The Myth Man by Elizabeth Swados (I'm seeing a pattern here.)
4. The Phoenix Trilogy of the Hardy Boys
5. a flora and fauna encyclopedia

Five books on your wishlist:
1. Lord of the Flies by William Golding
2. Catwoman: Dark End of the Street graphic novel

3. Garden of Beasts by Jeffery Deaver
4. CSI: Serial graphic novel
5. Lighthousekeeping by Jeanette Winterson

Who will you pass this quiz to?

Djong, mag post ka rin.
Pek, I'm contagious.
